Our Vision for Apprenticeship Programs and Digital Transformation in Japan
Dear prospective members,
We would like to introduce you to the Japan Institute for Apprenticeship & Digital Transformation Association, also known as JAD-X. We are a non-profit organization committed to the promotion and development of apprenticeship programs, infrastructures, and networks for the benefit of IT-related industries and organizations that require digital transformation activities.
Our mission is to play a major role in organizing, developing, and deploying apprenticeship programs, infrastructures, and ecosystems, for the benefit of the IT-related industries actors and those organizations that require digital transformation activities. Our main public interest categories include promoting academics and science and technology, supporting employment for those who are willing to work, sound upbringing of children or adolescents, improving the welfare of workers, contributing to the healthy development of the mind and body of the people through education, sports, etc., or to cultivate a rich humanity, preventing and eradicating unfair discrimination or prejudice due to race, gender or other reasons, promoting the formation of a gender-equal society and other better societies, sound development of the local community, securing and promoting opportunities for fair and free economic activities and improving the stability of people’s lives by revitalizing them.
To achieve our mission and objectives, we are looking for companies to join our association and support our efforts. By joining JAD-X, you will have the opportunity to:
- Bring awareness to all local economic development stakeholders about the power of apprenticeship for building a powerful and digital-friendly society.
- Disseminate knowledge and support for apprenticeship-related initiatives from start to finish, utilizing international best practices and support to ensure successful know-how transfer.
- Advocate investing time and energy in adopting and/or building and developing the best apprenticeship ecosystem with all relevant public and private economic actors.
- Provide members with an apprenticeship framework, a toolbox ready to use and deploy for building and improving apprenticeship programs and ecosystems, in-house and online seminars, train-the-trainer programs, mentor-the-mentors programs, coaching, and workshop facilitation.
- Undertake research and advocacy initiatives and cooperation with various organizations, such as governmental bodies both domestic and abroad, UN agencies, involved in apprenticeship for the IT-related industries and digital transformation.
- Promote networking and joint projects among NGOs engaged in apprenticeship and digital transformation cooperation.
- Provide human resource development and organizational strengthening, including the provision of support and advice, for organizations engaged or willing to commit to apprenticeship and digital transformation.
- Implement research and advocacy activities on apprenticeship and digital transformation.
- Promote IT learning and education to foster a global digital-friendly society and increase the number of digital citizens.
- Interact and cooperate with various organizations, such as UN agencies, governmental bodies both domestic and overseas, local governments, and various private organizations.
